Steve Longshaw is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club. It's his job to appoint instructors, book exams, conduct various bits of administration and co-ordinate the training sessions.
Secretary - Ben Skedd
Ben Skedd is in charge of booking the pool to be used on Sunday evenings and special evets, liaisng with Keynsham Leisure Centre, taking minutes when we have meetings and ordering club kit.
Treasurer - Sarah Jefferies
Sarah Jefferies is in charge of managing the finances of the club, keeping the committee informed of the financial position of the club, preparing the annual budget to be approved by the committee and presented at the AGM and collecting members' subscription fees.
Competition Secretary
Rachel Oliver is in charge of encouraging Keynsham Lifesavers to compete at competitions, entering and selecting teams for competitions and running the annual KLSC competition.
Publicity Officer - Rebecca Mason
Rebecca has to upkeep the maintenance of the club website, posting reports and photographs of competitions and other club events, publicising the club in an effort to attract new members (this may include producing posters, flyers, submitting articles to Lifesavers magazine and local media), registering the club with Bristol and Bath council and registering our courses with the RLSS website.
Instructor - David Fielding
David is in charge of teaching the advanced group - those who are working towards their Award of Merit qualification.
Instructor - Pat Smith
Pat is in charge of teaching the intermediate group - those who are working towards their Bronze Medallion qualification.
Instructor - Carol Mason
Carol is in charge of teaching the beginners group - those who are working towards their Lifesaving 1, 2 & 3 and Rookie qualifications.
