Earlier this year I attended a youth life saving seminar in Germany. The trip was organised by the youth branch of the DLRG (the German equivalent of the Royal Lifesaving Society). The aim of the trip was to get to know youth workers from other countries and lay the foundations for future youth exchanges. You can read a full account of the seminar here:

I've finished translating the rules of the ResQ cup into English (with thanks to various online translation tools; and with a bit of help from Christina and Gesa from Kaufebeuren). Obviosuly it's not a perfect translation, but it does give you a good idea of what the ResQ Cup is all about (including a description of the events)...

DLRG Kaufbeuren has generously offered to host UK Participants in the international exchange. Clearly, the safety of trip participants is of utmost importance, so these guidelines have been developed to ensure that trip participants and their host families have a safe and enjoyableexperience.
