If you'd like to buy a club hoodie (£25), polo shirt (£16) or swim hat (£5) you need to get your order in by 31 Mar 2013!

Polo shirts are sky blue with "KEYNSHAM LIFE SAVING CLUB" in black letters across the back. The club logo is embroidered on to the left breast and you can have your nickname (up to 9 letters) embroidered on the right chest.

Children's Sizes: 5-6 (26" - 28"); 7-8 (30"); 9-11 (32"); 12-13 (34"); 14-15 (36"). Adults Sizes: S (35" - 37"); M (38" - 40"); L (41" - 43"); XL (44" - 46"); 2XL (47" - 49")

On Saturday 20th April 2013, Keynsham Lifesaving Club are holding their first ever lifesaving competition and we want YOU to take part! This event makes an ideal introduction to competitive lifesaving because it’s specifically aimed at lifesavers without little or no prior experience of competitions.

Teams of two will compete in the following events: Land-Based Initiative Test, Aquatic Initiative Test, Line Throw, Obstacle Swim, Swim and Tow, 50m Freestyle Relay (time permitting).

Competitors will be split into the following age categories: school years 6-8; school years 9-10 and school years 11-13. There are no prerequisite awards required and we'll even match you with a partner if you don't have anyone to compete with!

 Members of the Keynsham Lifesaving Club are working on perfecting their skills to enable them to be assessed on the RLSS UK Survive and Save Awards that they have been working towards!

With our great team of volunteer instructors, we will hopefully be getting some members through their awards within the next term!

The Survive and Save programme is a suite of lifesaving awards that teach personal survival, rescue, sport, fitness, skills and knowledge to anyone over the age of 12. There are three levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) with four award strands available at each level (Medallion, Beach, Stillwater and Sport). Click on the image for more information!
